Well, don't forget the dent, ding, and discontinnued tables as well. And the marked down Squadron books.

Maddafinga, I generally rat hole money for about 4 months before the Scalefest/Squadron migration that myself and several members in my club make very year. You definately should go next year, it's worth it.

I really miss the Squadron shop!
I used to frequent the Wheaton MD store and went to the one on Roosevelt Blvd in Philadelphia when I was a youngster!

I don't drive 4 hours to my lhs, just a few mintues. Now to go to the SQUADRON shop, I'd drive the 4 hours. I'd call it worth every minute.

You know-as much as I like the Internet's convenience-there's nothing like pulling a kit off the shelf and buying it!

Rick I had tunnel vision the whole time I was there, before I knew It; It was three hours before I came up for air. I think I looked in every box, shelve, and corner they have.

I can make Dallas in about 4 hours or so, depending on weather and whatnot. I take the Indian Nations turnpike and the speed limit is 80 there, or maybe 75 I'm not sure. I turn on my radar detector and do about 95. There are no towns to slow down for, so you make excellent time. Then, the trip from Paris to Dallas is a short one with few cops to be seen. I'd have sure gone if I knew about it. I thought about going to the Astros game in Arlington today anyway, it didn't pan out, but what a great weekend trip that would have been!

As consolation, I guess I'll have to hit Top Shelf in Owasso today.

They are located in Carrolton, Josh. It's a suburb of Dallas.
It's only about a 5 hour drive from my front door. If the police will all take a break I can do it in about 4 hours and 15 minutes! Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

Jeez, where is their main store in Texas, I'm not too far from most of the state and could have probably made it there. Of course, I wouldn't have had any money to spend. Now that I think of it, I may not have had a very happy wife when I got home if I'd had money to spend anyway. Perhaps it's better that I didn't go. Still, where is their main store?
