Yes folks, part one. I am posting these four parts here since I have such a hodgepodge of subjects represented in these four posts. I had gotten so much done that I'll have to post in several posts to keep those on dialup from throwing their computers in disgust at the slow download time.
I was given a gift from God in the form of an obligation-free weekend! Loads of time to 'play'!
So I sat down and looked at all the stuff I had sitting on the workbench and decided to just 'git 'er done'!
I started with my 1/72 scale Airfix French Puma that simply needed decals. I had finally found a set and got them put on:
Here it is finished with the dullcoat over it. The flash still makes it look a little shiny though.
Next, I took and painted a basecoat on my Airfix 1/72 scale Australian Centurion.
I may be putting a camo pattern on it once I get some more details finished. Or I may just leave it a solid green and wash and drybrush it instead. I definitely need to find the missing exhaust part though before I can declare this one done.
Finally, I repaired my old 1/72 scale Italeri M6 Gun truck.
I also dirtied it up a bit with some more wash and drybrushing to make it look better.
In between all this, I started a couple of kits as well. But I'll save those for the next post, along with the pics of my completed Titanic!
