                        Hi there Big Smile [:D]

                        I'd appreciate anyone's thoughts! I'm currently selling a Heller Brigantine kit on eBay and I'm trying to find out what year it was made.

                        Basically I thought this kit was from the 50's, but some-one has e-mailed me to say it's from the 70's. I can't seem to find any info about it online, so any thoughts you may have would be very very much appreciated.

                        Heller discontinued it's L-series in the early 1970s, and this is in the latter part of their releases in the L-series. I'd put the kit somewhere in the 1972-74 range.

                        The kit is worth $20-$25 on the collector's market according to John Burns' Kit collector's guide.

                        I edited your post to remove the link to the Ebay auction, since the posting of items for sale is frowned upon in these parts. Wink [;)]
