My first time at the Nationals, and my wife and I had a blast!

I spent waaay too much:
Anigrand's F-108
Anigrand's Rockwell XFV-12A
2 of the re-released Piranhas
1 '73 Mustang
Planet X Moonbus
Gizmotron's Whitestar
ArveyModelProducts's Blockade Runner

We loved everything about the show -- it was big enough that we made sure that we had designated spots & times that we'd look for each other!

Well worth the time & money!

Joe

I only walked away with two kits for me. One actually for my boy for his birthday which was a polar lights old style bat mobile. I scored a kit that i had never seen before but could not pass it up.

The whole show was mind blowing and have to applaude the guys that put it on.

I was fortunate enough that the Nats came within a short drive this year so I went this morning and hit the vendors for as much as I could get away with and took lots of photos. List what ya got and what you enjoyed the most!
My take:
-1/700 Dragon USS Mustin DDG-89
-1/144 Trumpeter Seawolf
-1/32 Cutting Edge Aces II for the Acad big Viper
-1/48 Accurate Miniatures P-51 w/ Merlin
-1/48 Accurate Miniatures B-25G
-some miscelaneous tools
I have to say that being my first Nats, the display areas was phenominal. There is some extrordinary talent present and it has dropped a coal in my pants to improve myself and make more bench time. The C-130 was phenominal!
I also certainly enjoyed the vendors. It's nice to meet some of the folks you order from and a good secret is to go on Saturday. The deals are much sweeter. I saw Paul Boyer but he was eating lunch and I didn't want to bother him. Darren Roberts, if by chance you read this- your Tomcat looked fantastic. you have that weathering paint job down to an art. Thanks to the IPMS folks for putting on a hell of a show!
