looking for a better way

I have my models in a glass cabinet, so they are reasonably protected from dust.
Once or twice a year I do have to dust them. I use a very soft brush that was meant to be used to put on make up (rouge etc. Just steal one from your wife/girlfriend/mother)

I put all my completed kits into clear acrylic cases from Imex. A little pricey, but after all of the work that goes onto them, the last thing I want is dust, hair, fingerprints, etc. getting on them. Occasionally, I actually take them out to look at their pristine dust-free condition....and you can still smell the paint and glue too!

I blow my airbrush over the model (with no paint of course), and now I put all my models in custom acrylic cases.

Durr, I just use one of those real soft fan brushes that most people use for feathering watercolor paintings. I also try to brush off the models once a week. Note I said "try" but that's not always the case. Basically I try to keep one step ahead of the dust before it becomes permanently adhered to the model. Aside from putting them in a sealed display area I think that's about all I can do. If I keep my models dusted frequently then they really do look great for years and years and years.
