Not too sure if I understand your question very well, jtank241, but if you are talking about making a number of similar items such as road wheels, you basically have to come up with the best 'pattern' you can make, and duplicate it at will. This can be achieve either by using an existing wheel from a kit, modifying one from an existing kit, or build one from scratch with plastic card or from metal if you have a lathe.

thanks for all the advice on resin,etc. but i have another ? if I am scratchbuilding a model from a scale drawing how would i make the parts in the mold for the resin i.e. making wheels etc. any help is greatly much appreciated & thanks for the past advice
