Too many projets at one time

I am currently working on four projects and have four other kits on the shelf that I am waiting to build. Just wondered if anyone else had this dilemma. When I find the time I work on one at a time. While the glue dries on one project I work on the other.

Just curious if anyone else suffered withthis dilemma?

I think most modelers have the same problem. I try to discipline myself to have no more than three builds in progress at one time, but it's hard to resist the temptation to start another kit before any are finished. My experience is that if I get too many going, none get finished.

I try not to have more than one build in progress at a time. IT gets hard sometimes, as I lose motivation, but I've been pretty good. I have no place really to keep started models, so I try to finish whatever I'm working on before I start anything new.

I've got two on the bench right now. I'm fighting the urge to start a third because I know it will distract me from finishing the bench queens I've got going now.

I do have multiple builds going but it's a mixed bag-I'll have a figure, a plane and maybe a piece of armour going at once. I fell that's it's good to bounce around-although 3 planes at once would be hard-I think I would pick a favourite and ignore the others.

I currently have 5 birds waiting for me to paint them. I just bought an AB and now have to learn how to use it. I'm waaaaay better at gluing bits together than painting, so I'm starting on project #6... Big Smile [:D]

Right now I have too many projects but unfortunately none of them involve modelling....

Putting together new bookcases, finishing unpacking from a move, finishing landscaping on a new-build house, (doesn't include the never ending projects of just plain old housekeeping!)

I also do different projects. I have two on the bench right now, one nearly finished.

I try to not have more then 3 projects, and if I have 3 projects, two of them must have a similar paint scheme.

I usually have 3 or 4 projects on the go at any one time, when one is drying, I'll paint the next. When thats drying I'll put decals on another etc. etc.......
If you can stick to a system it works out pretty well, it also helps if you have plenty of workspace too.

I try to keep myself restricted to four building at once. I have a lot more than four waiting to be built, I'll tell you that for nothing.

I have about 5 in different stages. It seems i los interest near the end or some hangup i.e. tracks that stall a build. Sometimes I think all I want to do is just build. Weathering bores me, even though it is crucial to an armor build.

you don't even want to know.....so many projects are going on that ive even started little side projects to past the time on my other projects what sucks is that im starting to get lost on what the last thing i did on a kit was. then it gets really confusing

I currently have one plane in construction, one plane needs some bodywork then painting, a tank that needs final painting and assembly, a gundam model which has been off and on, and another plane that has a finished cockpit and installed landing gear bays, but I've really lost interest in this one.

I try to control the number of builds and keep it under 3 at once, 2 is my preferred number of projects going at one time. My big problem is that I'll buy kits that I want to build, but then another project/idea will pop up (see the armed tiltrotor escort thread or my AV-22 thread) and I'll have to buy more kits so that I can join in on that.
