I want to say something and I hope everyone realizes I am not on the staff of FSM. I am a bungling WWII enthusiast who is learning every step of the way. Every plnae I do, has a little improvement. Even the early ones, right out of the box, look good, painted in a simple scheme with no washes and so forth. Now, as I read, they get better and better and better.,
I recently picked up Warbird modeling, 8 must have WWII combat aircraft. Absolutely incredible. The gold standard. The tips and the photos make this a keeper. I can only strive to reach that level and have something on my bench that will come cloe to those models. I am simply blown off my feet how cool these things can look, when done correctly. But again, it is not an overnight process. But, at least I can see and read with my own eyes how they are done.
The staff of FSM does an outstanding job of moving this hobby forward. They should be commended. I love working on these planes. It is a hoot to look at the final product. FSM is leading the way and showing us how to do it. Thanks from Lexington Kentucky!!!!!!!
