                        Didn't know where to put this so trying here. Does anybody know of some pics or a site where I could see some ideas for one of those fantasy type Airship balloons. I was given the Revell germany modern airship kit and just thought i would bash up one of those. You know the type of thing.Gaudily painted and a cross between HG Wells and Final Fantasy with sails,engines,etc.
                        Any help much appreciated.

                        Your might review the work of Rodney Matthews and Roger Dean. Also, the film, "Rock & Rule" has a sci-fi airship. Finally, there has been some NASA concept art concerning using airships on Mars. Have fun!

                        Well I searched them and retrotech,steam-punk and several other search words but came up zilch. HG Wells and jules Verne produced nothing either. I seem to remember a long time ago an air ship of the type i am thinking of was featured in FSM's modellers pics pages.

                        just how far *out there* are you planning on making this?

                        Like a semi-realistic Crimson Skies-style aircraft carrier zep', a Final Fantasy 8 Ragnarok spaceplane or Garden, or a Final Fantasy 9 flying steamship?
