Academy Company

Does anyone know who I can contact to get replacement parts for an Academy model. I read that the distributor should be contacted, but who is that in the US? Their website has no info on this, so I asked at their website, but I figure I will get a faster response here.

Thanks!

All you can do is email them or you hobby shop should be ablr to get the part - open a kit and take it or order it in.

Thats all I can think of...

I thought about that, but the kit is one of those display ones, and I won it in a contest at my old model club 5-6 years ago. So, I have to go straight to the company. Problem is, they say go through a distributor, but I don't know where to look for the distributor.

Plus, I am having a rough time accessing their site....

That would be Model Rectifier. They have pretty good customer service too, has some parts in a couple of days after letting them know they were missing.

Sorry don't mean to be negative but......I contacted them about a missing part to my Stuart. I got a response saying the part was in the mail. It's been at least 6 months with no part and no response to my second e-mail. I hope you have better luck. I guess I can't complain to much. I'm not sure if I lost the part or the part was missing from the sprue.

Hmmm, no I check my e-mail nothing there. Disapprove [V] I really think to save cost because of the high gas prices they are delivering it by bike or maybe walking. I wait by the door for it's arrival should be any day now.Big Smile [:D]
