Just wanna say.....
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, October 13, 2005 1:48 AM
I just wanna say how impressed I am with so many of the models I've seen since joining this forum a few weeks ago.

The detail some of you can obtain is just incredible.
How the heck can you guys paint the individual dials and gauges in the cockpit of a 1/72 scale aircraft. Unbelivable!

I hope to learn the skills many of you have.

Keep up the good work folks!

Hey False, I wholeheartedly concur with you. It never fails to amaze me, the fantastic work that pops up in the forums. Welcome BTW.

Hey is that the Revell Acura? My son and I were building one and never finished it. It was even painted in a similar color as yours. I suck at cars.

There is that Neat Image software you can download online to fix up the heavy grain in ur picture. It's a demo but you can infinitely use it. Adjust ur focus a lil bit too (if there is one available)

False - be careful, because if you hang out here long enough you'll be posting those same fantastic builds with individually painted gauges in 1/72.. Wink [;)]

I stepped up the quality of my work by a long shot in the first 6 months I was here.. now I am still learning and improving what I do... you can learn a lot from the people here..

just thought I would warn you so one day when you wake up and realize you are scratchbuilding a new "correct" console for that car you are making it doesn't scare you! Clown [:o)]

I'd like to say that, I learn so much so fast on these online forums, that I have a hard time looking at a model I built 6 months ago. I guess if there's anything bad in all this, that would be it!
