Oh come on, are you saying no piece of military technology could be considered cute?

How about the F4F Wildcat - the stubby fuselage, those short, boxy wings, the perky forward-swept radio mast?  ADORABLE!

Hey, he's pretty good.... ; ) No, seriously, when I did my first model I had to use a brush, and it was generally a horrifying expierience that has scarred me.

Cute isn't bad. It's my favorite word right now in light of the recent addition to my family. My question is this: did you teach him how to clean the airbrush afterward?

Yeah, he looks very focused and determined in those pictures.

When the boards come up in the spring, maybe you can save that area of the floor and keep it with the plane. His first airbrushing project. Wink [;)]

Thanks for the fun, guys :)

I specifically put him on the floor so that overspray didn't go all over my workbench. I don't have a proper spray booth yet. I'm not worried about the floor; it is in the basement, and those boards are coming up in the spring.

His skill level may be atrocious, but he is definately intent on the task at hand, eh? :)

Not bad. Move the plane and the furniture out of the way so he can do the rest of the floor. Wink [;)]

I, too, think it's great!

Interesting how "cute" is four letters, but "QT" (cutie) is only two!

So long folks!

Cute is a four letter word, but in this case most appropriate Smile [:)]. Love to see youngsters trying their hand at modeling. Thanks for sharing.

He's getting pretty good coverage on the floor, too!

A friend gave him the plane, and I figured 'hey, why not?' He was making the same mistakes I make....airbrush too close, heavy first pass, etc...but he's only 4 1/2 :P
