I lost a few posts

wow - impressive site (I think anyway)

may be a suggestion to have the loggin function on the homepage like in the old format.

but I have noticed that I dropped about 10 posts from my total. Oh well not to worry, cos it looks like it was standard for everyone.

I think I may have gained around 30... somehow. Not like it matters, right? Smile [:)]

I would expect most experienced a gain vs. a loss.  Especially since the Odds & Ends are included in that count.

It could have been from deleted threads you had participated in.  Perhaps from when the old "Off Topic" forum was removed?  When threads are deleted, the post counts aren't adjusted (at least in the old forum they weren't).  However this morning I ran a script to update everyone's posts to reflect actual posts in the database.

Looking at my own numbers, looks like I experienced a loss of 300.  I was a regular participant in the old "Off Topic" forum.  Ah, the memories...  Wink [;)]

And I picked up 130 or so.  I'm starting to get a headache....

I think I may have picked up a couple...

Is the script still running?

You picked up a couple because you've been posting.  Wink [;)]

No, the script was a one-time thing I ran to adjust post counts.  The intention was to readjust for Odds & Ends, but I had forgot about the loss of the old Off Topics forum and the impact that would have on post counts.

I gained a couple..... though I don't care about post counts, anyways, this website is about disscussing models, not ranks and counts. Just my opinion.
