what dou you do with your "bad models"

evreyone has a bad build or a model i have read some posts where you throw it away or what  why

turn it into a diorama

i take aircraft with bad seam problems or what and put a canvas over the top  maybe buy an after market eng for it put it next to it with crew etc

armor is easier cover the inaccuracies with netting  brush or have a soldier sit  on it to hide it

this is just MY way of taking dissapointment out of itPropeller [8-]

I usually canibalise them for parts in other builds.

I salvage what I can: Missiles, wheels, cockpits, landing gears, fuel tanks.... and the rest usually gets cut up over the course of time and incorporated into some sort of extra scratchbuilt detail in another model.

When I get my new (and first real) airbrush for Christmas they are going to be my learning canvases.

I try not to think of them as "bad" models, but as challenged ones. I plan to use them as references of where I went wrong. Based on my current stash of challenged models, I should never go wrong again. Yeah, right!Tongue [:P]

So long folks!

I have almost alll the models I've ever built since I started, except for the earliest one, and any that got broken in moves. I think I even gave three or four away to a friend of mine too when I was much younger. Eventually, I sometimes pull them back down again and 'refurbish' them. I've never thrown away a model myself.
