I think that Marquett might have some old italeri molds. Not 100% sure on that though.

I member of another forum had a Russian Armored car from EE. I believe it came with seprate molded hatches, and a partial interior but had flash, pin marks and some bad fit.

I am not sure about all marquette kits but I hear that their flakpanzer 38t is horrible. Not really sure if this speaks for the rest of their kits though.

Most likely they will be rough kits needing some TLC.

Both Eastern express and maquette get their molds from differnet sources. Some kits are olds Frog's, others Italeri, some are from unknown sources and some migth even be their own development!

Hence the quality varies a lot, search for reviews of the specific kit that you want to buy.

And, as always, take a look inside the box before buying!

I've heard they're typical eastern kits, which is basically a hit and miss situation. Maquette has some horrible kits along with some really excellent ones. Best bet would be to post questions (in the appropriate forums) on the specifics of a kit that you're considering.

IMO, the Maquette T-34/85's are good kits. Second only to the Dragon kits.  I don't have any of their other kits.  I have some Eastern Express BMD's and really like them.  Models from both companies need some scratchbuilding or aftermarket help, however they do come out with kits that aren't being put out by bigger model companies.
