Gunze Mr. Dissolved Putty
Posted by darson on Sunday, January 1, 2006 6:56 AM

A couple of weeks ago I heard a couple of positive reports of a product by the name of Mr. Dissolved Putty from Gunze-Sanyo.  Strange name maybe but this product is really good as it is basically Gunze's Mr. White Putty and thinner mixed to just the right consistency for filling in seams and pinholes.

I generally find applying putty to be messy and difficult, but as this is applied with a brush it's easy as all get out (my prime criteria for a good modeling product).  I have used it on two projects so far and for those seams and sink holes that are a bit beyond Mr. Surfacer I find that this is great.

This is not an ad for Gunze products but if you get a chance check this out, you might be pleasantry surprised.

Happy modeling

Love the stuff too. got it last week or so.  Whats nice about it is that it dries fast, white (thiner portions dry clear) and it goes into seams beatifully.  I have yet to sand the stuff though on my current project.
