Best brush for very small & fine work?
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, January 7, 2006 7:51 PM

Thanks for taking my question. I am new to airbrushing. I sandbast as a hobby and am now trying to incorporate some color into the sandblasting. I sandblast police and fire badges and logos so the lettering is quite small. I have an Iwata Eclips BCS. I am trying to use a small tip rather than using a hand brush. Do they make such a small enough tip to do small lettering or is there another brush you could recommend? I was thinking also about a Badger brand since I've noticed that they are used by nail shops. Or what about the Peak C-5 gravity fed.....What would be your recommendations please?

I would suggest the Badger 100SG with the fine tip. Likely the one you've seen in nail shops. Extremely fine detail.

So long folks!
