All I say is good luck. I have been trying to get a replacement canopy for my 1/72 F-84 from Academy/their US supplier for going on 2 months now. I didn't even lose it, it was never in the kit!
Not the greatest customer service email wise, but I haven't tried calling them yet. Maybe I'll do it this week sometime.
