Thank you Michael for the explaination.
I truely understand how difficult it is for the moderators and administration to catch everything that goes on, especially in such an active forum as this one.

I will keep it in mind that my assistance may be needed from time to time to play defense and I might have to warn you guys. LOL   Wink [;)]

Thank you again...  Smile [:)]

Happy modeling!

Hi Jim,

There are a few reasons that an eBay link may stay up, but the most obvious is that we just flat out miss things from time to time.  While Dave, Matthew, Jeff and I certainly try to catch everything, it's not a perfect system and things will slip by the goalie from time to time.

For the most part, this board has been very good about self-policing over the years and if there's ever a post you see that you feel is inppropriate for any reason, feel free to bring it to the attention of any Admin by either emailing them directly or through the Reporting Forums.

Just curious and by no means do I intend to cause a problem.

But then why have I noticed some posts which only contain a link to an eBay item?

Can't or shouldn't such post be removed?

Or maybe it is allowed because the persons ID doesn't match the person selling it on eBay?

Examples:
The BEST ever Windshield System.
Engine detailing kit

FSM has advertisers that they need to keep happy and having us posting our stash (or our new business ventures) causes issues for them.

Besides the one already mentioned, several other sites have a space for listing your stuff, auctions, trades, etc.  I have a bunch of kits up right now also.

You can PM me for some of the other sites but make sure you keep with FSM.  There are some great people here and a lot of good help.

Go over to www.missing-lynx.com under Discussion Groups, there is a section called Private Sellers. Post your auction number there.

PM me the auction number if you don't mind. would like to check out what you have.

Selling models Question.

I am selling a small part of my collection on ebay and was wondering if I posted the auction # on this forum if that was against the forum rules? It is strictly my personal kits that I don't have room for anymore.
