Tackling my first Academy kit - their 1/72 WWII ground vehicle set, I need the Jeep for a diorama I'm attempting to build.
One thing I noticed - while the molding seems to be generally crisp and flash free, there are lots, I mean lots, of stubs attaching each part to the sprue, in some cases up to six! And these are pretty small parts, which makes what should be simple clean-ups a lot more onerous as you try and smooth down all the parting marks. Is this a common trait of Academy kits, or am I just feeling overly put-upon because I was hoping to get this thing built in one evening?
