Anybody know what happened to make Iwata stop selling thru Bear Air?
This is just my opinion, but if you look at Bear Air website they
have the Peak brand which they say was made by the a Japanese company.
Some of Peak products, the X-3 (looks like Iwata Eclipse HP-BCS) and
the C-5 (looks like the HP-CPlus) are priced lower than the Iwata
products. This could be (I have seen other postings referring to the
similarity to Iwata products) the reason why Iwata stopped letting Bear
Air sell their products. That Japanese company could be the same company that makes
Iwata products. I purchased the X-3 because of that reference and the
cheap price. Haven't used it yet and can not make comparison. Again, that is just my opinion.
