First of al, the old airfix 1/24 kits are (according to most modellers) oudated.

So Trumpeter started with sure sellers such as the Bf-109 and the Spitfire.Beeing extremely popular subjects, they sell very quickly.

 It's as simple as that.

1/24 Trumpeter Corsair?

Hi All

I've been in Kuwait the last 9 years and am a little out of touch with what's new in modeling.

What has me so confounded is why on earth would Trumpeter launch a line of 1/24 scale aircraft

with models that have been previously released? Has anyone ever asked them why they did'nt start

out with a 1/24th Corsair, or a Thunderbolt? If anyone has any ideas as to why please let me know.

I'm not mad at Trumpeter in the least, I think they have done some real quality work, now if only they

would mold a 1/32 F-111 life would be perfect.
