If I'm hearing this right, the commentator is saying that the truck is full of liquid styrene...the same stuff we make models out of.  Yikes!

The video is unreal...makes me glad that I don't have any sort of heat source near my workshop.

Gives you new respect for the courage and dedication of firefighters, doesn't it?

Pretty impressive. Nothing like a haz mat call involving fire to put some kick in your day.  Allthough I don't think styrene is one of the most dangerous industrial materials out there like the video said. Not when there are things that don't like to play with oxegen or water and not go bang.

Incredible!
I didn't realize styrene was so flammable. Shock [:O]
Could you imagine what a propane tanker would look like when it blew?

A propane tanker BLEVEing is not something I want to see first hand. I think the words the instructor used during that class was , you no longer exist in the universe. The videos are most impressive though.

According to the article I found, this is a gallon in a tank explodeing.

Just hope those relief valves are working right and it is all right though, just puts on a good show.

Wow Chris!
Makes me a little more leery of using my gas BBQ grill. Shock [:O]
