Have you all seen the April FSM?  I saw the article on that guy's "dream" workbench in his home. He also converted a closet to a venilated spray room. WOW!! Talk about a dream. I got a slight tingle in my groin area just seeing the pictures! And here I am working off a 48" by 48" card table in my son's room and my "sprayroom" is my carport! Trust me, if I had the resources, hell yah I'd make a room too. Oh well....reminds me of the old saying: It's not the size of your workbench, it's how you use it!

I saw that and actually drooled! In fact I showed it to SWMBO and she has allowed that I might be able to move things around to do the same. Of course, she is rather motivated as I have my spray booth "temporarily" in the kitchen. Oh, and I'm not going to get the oak trim and granite top, but at least I'll end up with the ventilated closet!

So long folks!

My wife really liked it, and told me I could do the same "style" with my shop, after she got a new kitchen, walk-in closets in the bedrooms, and a loft in our attic turned into a new master bedroom complete with Greek bath.

At the present rise in the cost of building materials, I should have a hobby room like that, say, in about 30 years after the mortage is paid and kids are done with college, or when I win the lottery.

What I thought was really cool was that he built it all himself! I am very impressed.
