Forum lurking...
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, May 2, 2006 4:12 AM
I was wondering how often you guys visit this forum.
I think I'm addicted, I would probably average 5 visits to FSM a day. A few times at work during the day and then at home in the evening.
What about you?

Try to visit the site at least once a day.  Use to visit more often in the past but found out I was spending more time here and less time modelling.
Wayne I enjoy getting older, especially when I consider the alternative.

About five or six times a day.  At times I just sign on and leave the computer on the site and come back later and check it.  I got up one morning and found I had stayed logged on the site all night.

I used to be on here several times a day.  Since things slowed down after the change over I'm down to only once or twice a day.

I log on when I get to work, and log off when I leave.  When things get slow, I check to see if I can add anything to what is going on, in the places I visit.

I may get so drunk, I have to crawl home. But dammit, I'll crawl like a Marine.

Here and there, couple of times a day. Used to be much more often before the redesign, as the forum was much more active then.

Anything from 0 to 20 times a day, depending. If I'm busy or away from the computer, could be as low as 0, but I try to get here at least once every day I'm at home. When I'm in front of the machine, I tend to monitor it fairly frequently.

Someone mentioned that they discovered it was taking away modeling time—I resemble that remark! But I just can't resist helping out a fellow modeler, or the general camraderie.

Only three to five times a week. I have too much going on on my bench right now, and with two jobs going on, it's been real tough to even do them. Now that my camera has gone missing in the black hole of DHL's delivery system, I cannot post any photos of my newest projects.  Still, I try to pop in now and then to see what's going on.

I'll check and see if anything is new several times at work. Check it when I get up (along with email, news, etc..... y'all know the "routine"). And a time or two in the evenings.

Sometimes on lunch breaks I read through several posts, just to see old stuff I missed.

I visit a lot. It's kind of a reflex when I'm bored... Click Favorites, hover over Max's Favorites, Hover over models, click FSM, click forums kinda like I just did now. It's nice to see what everyone's up to

Hoho! Smile [:)] Thanks again!

And you're absolutely right. It's weird…more time, and yet, somehow, nowhere near as much as it seems—of course, digging out the workroom (it gets used for everything delicate) and cleaning it (Anyone ever try weathering with dust? It was starting to compact into geologic layers in some places…Shock [:O]) has taken way too much time.

Tomorrow was to be "Drop dead I'm doing styrene! day"—Until I noticed the bulge in a sidewall of a tire at the gas station. So tomorrow morning I get to spend $$$$$ for new tires (they were due to be replaced, anyway) instead of hrs.hrs.hrs.hrs. on styrene. Grumpy [|(]

Oh well, maybe I'll live forever… <raspberry!> Big Smile [:D]Wink [;)]

found a report they did on my internet access at work since the beginning of the year...  this forum is the top ticker...  over twice as much as any others at 6000+ requests for finescale.com, and 20K+ kalbach.com which I think was caused by the banner or something.  well, since i found that report now i am cutting it down by a lot... and probably will just visit once every night for half an hour after work.

The tires are kind of "no option." Maybe they'll get them done fast… … … Maybe the next thing off the drawing boards at Northrop will be a fat pink pig with wings and afterburning…

Whoa, I hope my school district doesn't do that...!  Whistling [:-^]

I'm usually on a bunch during the school day, during prep (while working on other things, of course!), between classes, lunch...  and then a few times in the evenings too.  I try to use it as inspiration, but mostly I just spend my time here instead of with the plastic!

I'm on 4-5 times a day. Early morning before the boss gets in, lunch, when I get home, after supper for a bit and later on in the evening is my usual routine. I need help! Tongue [:P]
