Scale Conversion
Posted by Gunwise on Tuesday, August 12, 2003 12:01 AM
Ok guys, I been modeling since I was a kid, but never had to do this, so I don't know.
My squadron just got presented a set of custom 1/48 scale decals of our CAG bird. I'm still waiting for delivery of my new 1/48 scale EA-6B Prowler, but I have a 1/72 kit in hand.
I also have some blank decal film. I want to scan the 1/48 decal sheet, reduce the size of the scanned image, and then print it on the blank decal film.
Understanding that the 1/48 scale is roughly 1/4"=1', and 1/72 scale is 1/6"=1', how much do I shrink the image to print the desired scale sheet?
Thanks for the help
