Sheets for Vac-u-form?
Posted by dkmacin on Wednesday, June 7, 2006 6:17 PM
I have a Mattel Vac-u-form but need the sheets so I can use it again, I know there is a company that makes them, but I have lost any information I had. Any one know of them?
I have used some clear plastic I found on one of my kids report folders, it worked pretty good, but I'd prefer the stuff I don't have to cut to fit.Thanks!

I know it's only rock and roll, but I like it.

Don;

Is this the group you were dealing with before?

Hope this helps. Incidentally if you did want to cut them yourself. The required dimensions are 3" X 3 1/2"  and .017 gauge plastic

Thanks Greg,
I hadn't heard of the group you posted before.
I had dealt with a company/individual that advertised in FSM several months ago but lost the information.
And of course they were much less expensive than the e-Bay group. . .

Don:

I love a challenge, so I went back through the back issues on the shelf to find this.

In the March 2005 FSM page 16.

Vac-U-Form sheets - Pre-drilled plastic sheets to fit 1960's Mattel vac-u-form. Sheets are available in white or clear plastic, from CALLARI MODELWORKS

Is this the company you were dealing with?

Cheers;

Gregory

Here it is.  I have not ordered from him yet but a memebr of my club has and he gave me a sheet of the clear to try.  It comes with a protective film on both sides so when you are ready to use it, it will be nice and clean and scratch free.
