OT: Ahhh... I think it's gonna be a good day...

Well, first of all, here's what I had for breakfast...

That's ice cream my friends. Pure vanilla icecream with one very ripe banana added for a little fun. (I can get away with this one because the wife is away today... Wink [;)])

For the next few hours I'm gonna cruise the web and catch up on some forum reading/posting. I may even do a little work on my CBP#4 project (ship). I've got the music turned up and a nice tall glass of icey Coca-Cola sitting by my side.

Then, I'm gonna go and help my local model club get set up for a display at the airshow this weekend. Maybe I'll even have a beer. Wink [;)]

Then, I get to go to the airshow tomorrow and watch all of the cool airplanes and stuff! [:0]

Then, I'm going to go to the cabin at the lake and play with my 1 year old boy and spend some time having fun with the rest of my family. Big Smile [:D]

Life couldn't be a whole lot better!! Approve [^]

The supreme being will punish you for tempting us.

What air show? Who's there?

I may get so drunk, I have to crawl home. But dammit, I'll crawl like a Marine.

So, now it's about 2:00 pm here in Saskatoon (that's where the airshow will be) and I did force myself to eat a couple of sandwiches. I've had a couple of really cold beers and actually got quite a bit of other stuff accomplished too!! I have a bit of a tummy ache though... not sure why?? Maybe the sandwich meat was bad?? Couldn't have been the Smarties, I just bought those yesterday...

If you're interested in info about the local airshow, check out http://www.canadaremembersairshow.com. It's really a pretty good show for a prarie town. We're scheduled to have a B-2 fly-by on Saturday and a F117 on Sunday. The local organizers put on a spectacular event!!

BTW, it's HOT here today 31C and climbing... Forecast for tomorrow (airshow) is 35C!!

If you're going to be there, check out our club's display. I have no idea where it will be, but it will likely be in a tent somewhere. I'm going to be spending some time behind the tables and I should have my name-tag on. If you see me, give me a shout and let me know who you are! I might even be conned into buying you a Coke!!

Better yet, the display is going to be put on by our club, but if you'd like to bring a couple kits for display that would be awesome!! Just talk with some of the guys behind the table and I'm sure they'd be happy to find a spot for your stuff!!

Enjoy the show!!

I'll be sure to check out the check it out, don't worry. It will probably be in the same place it was last year. If I had my Bren Carrier finished I might be tempted to display it. It just needs the guys and weathering. thanks for the invitation though!!

I am with Wayne Baker,
The model gods may just smite you for having so much fun.
Lets see.
I got up this morning and had a large cup of java and jammed to work.
When I got their I inspected welds and ate smoke all day.
I went to the eye doctor and got fitted for glass's(my first time).
Came home and took a nap(that part's not so bad).
A friend stopped by and dropped off a couple of armor kits(that parts not so bad either).
I got on the web and now I will have a couple "barly pops".

Now that I think about it ,the model gods might smite me down!

Must be the day for wives to be away...mine is up north in Orr, MN with her parents. I worked very late last night so I slept in for a change...went in a couple of hours to finish up some things...jammed to the local hobby stores "just lookin'"...came home to put a coat of flat on a Spit I've been working on. Bought a set of Berna clamps, and spent part of the afternoon trying to figure how to use the !*%? things, gave up and went into the pool (been hot here in the Cities, 95F/do not know what that would be Celsius)...started the grill, cooked some beer brats (mmmm, beer brats) watched the Vikings get stomped...lost an E-Bay bid....now I am going to watch the news from RTE...work on my N1K1 George and then crash. Still have at least a day to get the "honey-dos" in!!!!

Hey Elfkin, sorry about them Vikings also. I am a Vikings fan, though not as big as I used to be, still sentimental towards them. They landed a couple of ex -Oregon Ducks: Ontario Smith(probably the best running back in the schools history) and WR Kenan Howry, also one of the best in school history). They were both part of the 2001 team that finished 11-1 and second in the polls. I have a whole new reason to root for them. Big Smile [:D]

It's only the preseason.
Right now it's anything go's.
I have a FFl draft on thursday and I can't wait.

Tigerman how do you so much about former Duck players.
I live here about 5 miles away the UofO.
If you need any Duck stuff let me know,I can hook you up.
Maybe we can work a trade or something.

Hi James, Can you say Civil War tickets? Tongue [:P] I've lived in Portland all my life untill two years ago and have been a big fan of the Ducks since the days of Dan Fouts. I get to have a lot of fun with the OSU fans at my work. This year they might get the last laugh though, them Ducks aren't expected to do so well. But as they say, "Through thick and thin". On another note, I have to secretly root for the Detroit Lions and Joey Harrington. Wink [;)] Ducks, Ducks, everywhere.
