Fantasy Kit

What would you most like to see built into a kit or a old outdated kit brought back on the market. For me it would have to be a Martin Mars made in a 1/72 size waterbomber style

For me, it would HAVE to be a McDonnell XP-67 "Bat" in 1/48. Beautiful plane, attempting to achieve laminar flow over the entire airframe, and McDonnell's first military contract plane. (never went to production) I'll probably NEVER see this in kit form.

Being a firefighter, mine would be a modern day American style fire apparatus. Only lits made are europian trucks or old style.

I wanna see a very detailed Jaguar D-type, a C-type, an XK-140, a Tamiya or Fujimi Austin Healey 100-4, A Jabiru Ultra light plane, or just about any aircraft made by Rutan

Hey all,
I would love to see a 1/48th T2C Buckeye done either by Tamiya or Hasegawa(crossing fingers and toesTongue [:P]).
Also it would be cool to see the AT-37 redone w/ new tooling in 48th scaleWink [;)]
One thing that gets me, I have not seen a good mfg come out w/ all the trainer a/c that the different branches use/used(any era) in quarter scale eitherSad [:(]Sad [:(]Tongue [:P]Wink [;)].
Flaps up,Mike

If you would listen to everybody about the inaccuracies, most of the kits on your shelf would not have been built Too Close For Guns, Switching To Finger

Butz - Funny you should say that. I have a 1/48 Falcon Bf 109 G12 (2 seat trainer) on the workbench right now ! MPM makes an Fw 190 (S?) 2-seater also. These kits are a lot of work for me, but they're unique !

I would like to see a 1/32 scale X-31.
A 1/32 scale E-2C Hawkeye.
And a 1/32 scale Viking in any version(go Hoovers).

I am a armor modeler but I also love those planes.
I just don't have the skills to make them look good like I can with armor.
Besides armor seems to be exploding right now so if I want something new I only have to wait a couple of days and some one is coming out with it.

I'd love to see a remake of the Revell F-14A Tomcat in 1/32. Would be nice to have a more accurate cockpit in resin, some photoetched parts, maybe some panels that can be opened to reveal interior, figures, metal landing gear.

I'd like to see a 1/48 or 1/32 YF-23. I think it is the meanest looking A/C ever. I only have the chumpy, poor fitting 1/72 Italeri kit or the pricey resin 1/48 kit to deal with.

I would like to see ALL the manufacturers decide to just lower prices.
The Trumpeter USS HORNET, The Academy FA18C, for say $50.
1/72 kits no higher than $20, 1/48 no higher than $35. . .
Never happen of course, but one must dream.

Don
I know it's only rock and roll, but I like it.

If Tamiya, Hasegawa or Academy would put out a 1/32nd or even a 1/48th Grumman S2-F (Stoof), I would be first in line for it.
Or a 1/48th Lockheed P2-V Neptune.
Unfortunately the ASW community is another arena that gets the short-shrift in modelling. Not much glamour in sub chasin'.

I want to see a 1/144 scale TimberWolf BattleMech(The TimberWolf is know as the Mad Cat in Inner Sphere circles...). Matter of fact, I would like to see ALL of the Battletech 'mechs made in 1/144 scale! Right now, all they have are tiny little minis, and I want 1/144 scale!!

May be wishful thinking, but I'd love to see a 1/32 B-17F. Wingsurface could be measured in acreage.

Pix, The XP-67 was put out by Combat Models as late as 1994. By all accounts it was very nice kit. It's a vac with metal detail parts.

On the heels of the upcoming re-release of Revellogram's 1/48 B-29, I would love to see an aftermarket conversion to make it into the X-1 carrier. I dread scratchbuilding that thing.

Hate to dig up old threads but rather than posting a new one....
There are several things I would like to see in kit form...some may already be but I havent run across them....
Just recently found out from Woody Lindberg made a 1/12th '71 Plymouth Duster....I would like to have SOMEONE else make this kit...
I also wouldnt mind seeing a 1/48th scale AVRO 671 ROTA....
Plenty of ships out but Ive never seen an oil rig....Not sure what scale one would be in but it should have tons of parts and be a nice size when completed!
Then theres the Fairey Barracuda...Ill take mine in 1/48th or 1/32nd please!
I also would like to see a 1/72nd Short S.25 Sunderland....maybe the folks who make that kit could also do the MkIII variant...or some bold company step up and offer the conversion parts!
A Vickers 246 Wellesley would be nice in any scale....I think I would prefer that one a bit bigger so make mine 1/32nd!....My list goes on and on....Maybe one day huh?

I'm still wondering why nobody has HMS Hood in 1/350. Tamiya, are you listening? Lindberg, don't bother.

Hey demono69, Panda may soon grant our wish for the Boeing acreage. Just make it well and good fitting with detail in the wheel wells and not just a hole in the nacelle.

I would love to see in the same car scale as the other cars (1/24th) of one of those Liebherr gi-huge-ic strip mining trucks. It might be big enough to hold my 1/32 B-17.Tongue [:P]Big Smile [:D]

I think I would most like to see a lot more Star Trek kits in 1/1000 scale. I Think a USS Grissom would be a good place to start. I would also like to see kits of the Botany Bay, Stargazer, and the Kobiyashi Maru!
I would also like to see a revival of 1:1 scale guns both real and Sci-Fi. Cool [8D]
