Yesterday, I found a new shop that just opened up in San Jose, CA. It's called California Hobbies. The owner is another former employee of the now closed San Antonio Hobbies. Right now, they carry primarily R/C stuff. However, the owner told me that he will be getting more plastic kits in along with paints, tools, etc. He will also do special orders.
California Hobbies is located at 1702 Meridian Ave, Ste I, which is in the Dry Creek shopping center in San Jose. The nearest major cross street is Hamilton.
