Welcome! Don't limit yourself to only one forum(such as aircraft) there is always something  to learn from every forum provided here

Good point and once visiting the armor forum, you will eventually join the Dark Side? What is that? Ask any A/Cer who was once a prop builder and now a trackhead. Big Smile [:D] Plenty to learn and share here. Welcome aboard.

Ahhh yesss.....the Dark Side. I once spent my time strickly in the aircraft forum..... One day after reading most of the same post and nothing really happening in the forum I felt this eiry pull, tugging at my very soul!....... I watched in horror as my mouse acting on its own much like a weejee board move slowly to ...............the....armor forum!! Once there I saw post after post, picture after picture of these neat armor vehicles.......Tanks!.......Armor cars!........Tanks!....... Flak 38s!........and..........Tanks! Oh my gosh could it be??!! am I getting interested in this stuf?!!! NO! NO! I like planes and jets and propellers!! But the pull was just too much! I was getting sucked in like  hair down a drain. Then it happened, I asked the question.....................Hi guys I'm new to armor where do I start?!!! Then their Grand Emporer who goes by the name .....tigerman answered [ in a low raspy voice ] Evil [}:)]Evil [}:)]Evil [}:)]Evil [}:)]Evil [}:)]Evil [}:)]........welcome to the Dark Side!!! OhhhhhhhhNooooooooo!!!!!!Shock [:O]Shock [:O]Shock [:O]

Hello johncpo from CPO(Pat)

I didn't retire from the service but spent 4 yrs in the USAF(Korean Conflict--1951-1955), was a flight line mech., first started out on T-33 jets after school at Amarillo AFB Tex., then had the chance to transfer over to B-25's and get on flying status($50 bucks extra on the month, living high off the hog),my wife and I were stationed at Moody,AFB, Valdosta,Ga.,little humor about the wife but she always said she had enlisted also. To get back to the other things I would appreciate any help on modeling ,figures, etc. that you can give, since I have plenty of time on my hands now, as I said before my wife has passed away, the kids have left home and the dog has died. Let me hear from you anytime.

From the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mtns.(Morganton,NC), best regards,

Pat
