Is Williams Bros. really up and running?
Has anyone has ordered anything from Williams Bros. http://www.williamsbrothersmodelproducts.com/ this year? As most of you know, the company folded a couple of years ago and was bought out by an outfit that moved everything to Texas. I have corresponed via e-mail with the new owner several times, trying to get a replacement clear sprue for the 1/53-scale Lockheed Electra I bought last year. He has always replied and said he will make good on the missing sprue, but the promised delivery month keeps getting pushed back.
The website is up (apparently what was left of the old site) and indicates a number of kits for sale, with others tied up in trademark issues over the boxtop art, but I am reluctant to send any money their way until I know I will definitely get something in return.
