still faster than waiting for the hobbyshop to get their crap (which normally will be once a week if not longer) and then having to drive there.  i personally only go to my local hobby shop (20 miles away) for paints once in a while.  i have a way bigger Tamiya, Dragon, and Trumpeter (and others) selection than they ever had at any time and 95% of them came from ebay.

ack, that's horrible.  check out www.best1hobby.com.  they carry Tamiya and gunze acrylic paints and ships through fed ex for a flat fee (or free for orders over $150  <---the way i usually get mine shipped...).  There is actually a real person on the phone if you want to call them for any other info stuff.  I have ordered from them for at least a dozen times since like 5 years ago.

Dubau,
I always tried to support my LHSs, but now days, I am using more online based shops for many reasons.
most of my LHSs have turned into R/C dealers and they are lacking many stuff that I need, such as plastic kits, paints and so on.  Worst of it all, they don't bother to replenish their inventory unless those are $100 + R/C items.  I'm fed up with them and started to shy away from those places.  There are still few left that I try to support, but takes me 40 + minutes round trip.
I feel your frustration my brother.

Thats it?  Disapprove [V]  I'm lucky, my LHS is small but very well stocked, and the great thing is they do most of their busines in R/C, so kits and stock move slowly . Big Smile [:D]
