Thanks for the return welcome.

The only kit I bought was the 1/32 scale F-105D, ordered through my supplier.

I have about 80 pounds of fish, already fileted and ready to fry up. It is a mix of Sea Bass, Grouper, King, Reds, Striped and Flounder for salt water and Bass for fresh water.

My boat is a blue water boat and is docked in Apalachacola. I was fishing in the Gulf of Mexico thirty miles out, about half way between Apalach and Panama City.

Welcome back, Berny. We all missed you. Glad to hear that at least part of it was fun, and that Murphy's Laws still apply outside the home.

Where did you go for vacation, I used to live on the gulf, right by galveston. You didn't get any good redfish? Hell of a grouper and mack and bass. I have a friend who was almost killed by a king mackeral, it's teeth laid his leg open to the bone between his knee and ankle, almost bled to death before he could get into shore. He radioed for an ambulance to meet him. Those teeth are dangerous. Sounds like you had a great time, despite the mishaps. I miss saltwater fishing. Glad you had fun.

Glad you aren't going to bore us with a lot of fishing stories. Hate for Lawerence to have to delate the post.

Have you cooked any of them yet?

I may get so drunk, I have to crawl home. But dammit, I'll crawl like a Marine.

Welcome home. Sounds like you need to go to work to rest; or sit down with a kit--it'll take your mind off your vacation! :)

Glad you're home safe. Sounds like the 3 fish outweigh the 3 ugly incidents, hope you had fun.

Just got back from our vacation late Sunday night. And as this is a forum on model building, I want boor you with the story of the 31 pound Black Grouper or the 8 1/2 pound Large Mouth Bass I cought. Or the 19 pound King Mackerel the wife cought. Or the truck getting a flat tire only 12 miles out of town as we were leaving to go on vacation. Or the boat having a complete electrical failure 27 miles out in the Gulf. Or the camper being invaded by large red ants three days prior to leaving for home. Ah, the fun of being away from home.
