Model show and swap Burnaby, BC Canada October 7th?

I was going to make it, and hopefully meet up with DrewH and his friends. However DrewH may not be able to make it, and I know now that I certainly can't. It's also my 47th birthday (Where in blue blazes has the time gone! ) and my sister is coming to visit me that weekend. Since I only see her once a year or so, and it's also Thanksgiving, I have to beg off.

I am not happy about missing the show, and I was also hoping to get over to North Van and visit Finescale Hobbies (Isn't that a grand name?), but blood is thicker than even the thickest gap filling CA glue!

There's a really good shop in Richmond on No.3 Rd whos name I can't think of ATM. It's a few doors down from a Salvation Army thrift store. Is Finescale on Marine Dr. across from Capilano mall? It's the only one I can think of in North Van. I went in there once while my car was getting fixed.

If I still lived out there I'd be all over it.

I haven't been in a few years, but Finescale is east of Capilano mall. I think on 2nd ave in South Lonsdale. Martin is a good guy.

I'll hopefully check out the show this weekend.
