They have great commercials....

Other than that, I just know they are probably the cheapest web hosting service available.

I've not had personal experience, but have heard good things about them.

So long folks!

i got my domain name from godaddy about 4 years ago if not 5, can't even remember now.  my hosting company is webhostingbuzz.com since godaddy at the time was charging a lot for hosting and this one only cost 4 bucks a month for 3 to 4 gigs of space (not that u will ever need that much) and comes well-equiped with everything.  i do like the godaddy account interface though.  two of my friends uses them for hosting and so far i think there was minimal downtime for the past two years.

You might also want to check out 1 & 1.  I decided to go with them instead of godaddy.  Good rates, good service.

Might want to check out Imhosted.com. I've used them for several years and their hosting is great. They have tons of easy to install packages that could really make managing your site take off. We use it at work for several clients and some internal products. For domain registration, GoDaddy is great. I'm planning on switching there.

Got my domain name for free when I signed up for hosting onthe economy package. It is a ridiculous amount of bandwith... like 250 GB.... 500 email accounts and I haven't even scratched the surface for usage.  Been with them since March and have not been down once.

Oh NO!!

There's only one way to go Bluehost.com!
I've never had a problem, no down time to speak of (one night out of 2 years). Support is great, if there is any problems (yes I screwed up a few things) they fixed it while I was on the phone with them.

Thumbs Up [tup]
