Not the plane but the brain...
Posted by lolok on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 12:37 PM

There have been and will continue to be many posts about what we consider the best/most beautiful aircraft ever but what about considering the designers?

I would have to nominate Mr Kelly Johnson as one of the best and most innovative designers of the last century. In a purely patriotic way I would also nominate Mr RJ Mitchell for his sublime Spitfire.Who knows what else would have come from him if he had not died neglecting his own health in order to finish his masterpiece.Sir Sydney Camm would also be on my list.

        So what about your favourites?????
