My hobby room
Posted by Racedriver on Tuesday, October 31, 2006 12:35 AM

I know this has been done to death but I just finished my hobby room and wanted to share the pics.It is still clean because I just returned to the hobby, plus I race sprint cars and build racing engines and the racing season is still going. But winter is coming soon.

I also have 3 computers in the room 2 for my racing and flight sim games and 1 for the internet.

PICS ARE NOW POSTED BELOW.Thanks for heads up on that yahoo thing willuride.

Hobby Room's can NEVER be done to death. I for one always like seeing them.

But can't see your pics :(

Get a photobucket account.  Yahoo won't work for the host site.  I've tried it before too.

Which size sprints?  My late uncle was a partner in GRW Racing (the 'W') owners of the midget sprint 86.  Looking forward to the pics.

Nice, especially that paint case, very efficient. I still dig through my box each time trying to find the right color.

I'm sure once I start my first project my area will be a mess. I'm gonna start on a Testors 02-A Skymaster and try to get back in the swing of things. Its been almost 11 years since I built my last model.Lots of new techniques, supplies and tools to learn. BTW thanks for the kind words on the room.

That is an AWESOME model room. I have a model 'corner'. At least I graduated from the kitchen table.

nice set of supplies too. I just get a little bit of stuff here and there. Supid kids, bills and life sucking up my cash leaving not as much as I'd like for a stash. I build one at a time.

I'm sure you'll have hours of enjoyment.

Nice work area. I think it is too clean but hey not all of us have to have kits, parts, paint, etc scattered all over the place.

Nice model room.  I would never display my stash out in the open like that.   Its hard enough to convince her I need more,  without the  having unbuilt kits in the open...

Yeah there is alot of extra's there archangel but I got into a good or bad habit?? since building racing engines--nothing sucks worse than being a couple hours from making a dyno run on an engine just to remember at the last minute that your out of break in oil or filter or some other small thing that holds you up for a day.

For your viewing displeasure... my corner of the the house affectionately know as the Blue Room. It's messy, unorganized and crammed, but it's mine. The wife has conceeded the loss of a room. The rest of the house is hers. I catch no flak for it's unsightly appearance, and I count my blessings. And, despite it's clutter, I know exactly where everything is... unless it has fallen on the floor.

What you don't see are piles of recording gear, drums, 6 guitars, an amp, record collection, etc. If you look closely, you can see the two green anole lizards I caught a few years ago (Becko and Liz). The are fat, happy, safe, and they want absolutely nothing to do with me.

Steve, I see alot of kits. But not many finished. And that name you called those lizards could get you kicked off the forums Laugh [(-D]

 Just kidding. Nice room!
