If you leave the model out in a open area it will collect dust, the only way to prevent dust build up is to have a case around them, whether it's a shoe box or a displace case is up to you.

When done, I entombe them inside a clear display box from Imex and they never come out - no dust!

A large blush brush from a beauty supply place... very soft.  Followed by a blast from a Dust-Off can.
