Thanks Guys......both kits are built and the Loach lives in a protective case, same for the Corsair, which I built as Black George with folded wings, you can see it on my site....it lives in a VERY nice  glass case now, far, far away :-)

I now know who you are.  I have admired your work at scalefirebombers.com for quite awhile.

The F7F that you did in TBM, Inc. colors is one of my favorites.  I have actually walked around that and others belonging to Bob and Hank Moore.  I was born and raised in Tulare.  When I got out of high school I went to work for the Mosquito Abatement District at Tulare Airpark.  When the season was up I went to work for Fry Aviation and did some work for Moore's as well.

Spent many days wandering around the B-17s, TBMs, F7s and even got to see the F-15 Reporter before it was destroyed.  Oh, what I would have given for a decent camera back then.

Anyway I just wanted to comment on your firefighters.

I built the model again with the tank from either Lonestar models or ventura hobbies, forget which, Ive used both now, and I got to use the nice Aermaster decals on that one.  TBM's owner (the name slips me now) wanted it built up after seeing my S-2 builds (flying and crashed, one year apart) , so I did but he said that they used a Malcolm hood on thier Tigercats, but preferred it built just as a regular tigercat.

Glad you like them! Im a long way away now in Louisiana , but back in the day I went to Reedly College to get my A & P ticket. Speaking of mosquito control, you should see the flying spray rig we have flying over Baton Rouge here, twin engine with twin spray pods below wing! And out here in the parish all I get is a truck driving around with a fogger on the back.....:-(
