I found that even when done sloppily, PE brackets look better than plastic ones. Which is my excuse for not bothering with the TINY etched wingnuts.

PE tool brackets Evil [}:)]   They look awesome when done properly.  My first try, I was really impressed by my perfomance. Then at my second try, I noticed that my first ones were backward.........
Good way to learn, I doubt I wil ldo the same mistake twice......

Now how about those indy tracks......  Whistling [:-^]     Still have to give it a try Laugh [(-D]

Sounds like a very good first experience.  Mine was worse than that.  Now, don't worry about those Indy tracks.  It goes together fairly easily.  It looks worse than it really is.
No matter where you go ....... there you are.

I finally took the bull by the horns and bent some tool brackets into shape, for the first time ever. I think I now understand what all the fuss is about. My first two brackets are a bit crude, but still good enough to put onto a vehicle (the Dragon Pz IVE). The bit I'm really proud of, though, is the multipart crew ladder on the side, which I got into place almost in one piece (an errant knife snipped one PE strip at the wrong place, alas).

There were some overall casualties, though. A few bracket pieces were tweezerpulted into oblivion, one got bent a time too many and snapped, and things like that. Thankfully Dragon included two complete sets of tools. :-)

Now, if only I could survive indy tracks this well, I'd have this kit bagged.
