Digi Photo Must-Have...
Over on one of the other forums, a member was lamenting the fact that he had no AA batteries for his digicam - and couldnt take any pics of his current build job 'til he got some more.
I used to have the same problem, always cussing how fast digicams ate up batteries! No matter how many I had on hand, I always seemed to be running out, as your average digicam consumes them like a starving beast.
Then one day salvation arrived! I was toodling around WalMart and spotted a four pack of rechargeable NiMH AA's, complete with "wall-wart" charger, for $10. They are 2700ma/hr batteries and lo and behold, problem solved. These suckers last a good long time and the only challenge is to ensure that the charger is turned off when the cells reach full charge. Otherwise, they can be harmed by remaining on powere beyond that point. I had an old AC timer laying around that works for that.
I know this is old news to most, but obviously not to ALL, considering the post that inspired this one. Get some of these for your digicam, and you shouldnt be without juice to run the thing again.
