Off to Saipan!
Posted by J-Hulk on Monday, September 15, 2003 10:41 AM
Hi, folks!Smile [:)]

Well, I'm off to Saipan for a week of rest, relaxation, sun, surf, Zeroes, B-29s, Type 97s, Type 95s, and even some Shermans.
I can't think of a better place for a modeler to relax! Wink [;)]

The beauty of that paradise makes its place in history even more poignant. Some of the bloodiest battles in the Pacific took place on Saipan. Other than all the relics, it's hard to believe such battles raged all those years ago.

So, I'll be back next week and tell you all about it.

See ya!Big Smile [:D]

Hi Brian. Not to get too personal, but I was wondering what you do for a living? Is that what brought you to Japan? Will you ever move back to the States? Send back some great pictures of Saipan. Is it business or pleasure? Have fun. Tongue [:P]

Have a great time over in Saipan, Brian. Hope you don't run into any old Japanese who still think we're fighting the war!

Brian,
If you get the chance, do some diving on Saipan. Lots of interesting stuff in the
water there. I used to live on Guam and made the trip to Saipan and Tinian a
number of times.
