WOW!! My lucky day... I think ^_^

Sooo yea today at work (HobbyTownUSA) a customer came in with this big cardboard box. He came up to me and asked if we accept donations. At first I told him no we do not... but out of curiosity I asked him what it was he was trying to unload on someone haha. He opens the box and in it are a bunch of plastic models, ships, planes, and a tanker truck. He said some of them are 20 - 30 years old. I am not to sure if thats correct... but I didnt think twice about it haha... I said OH SURE I CAN TAKE THOSE! He wanted to donate them to a school or something, and I told him truthfully, giving these kits to school kids would be depressing haha cuz they would eb ruined. So I made a deal with him. I would take the models and get replacements from my store. So everyone wins, he donates to some school childeren, I get some collectible kits, and some kids get soem free models to enjoy building. I even got my boss at work to donate the glue and other basic tools to get them started... Ok Ok so here are soem pics. All of them but 2 are unbuilt/painted/ + come with original instructions decals etc etc

 here we go...

So yea thats what I brought home.... There was some old battle star galactica model in the bunch also, but die to this causing a comotion at work I gave it toone of my co-workers to shut her up. Go figure, no one in the whole place could careless about modeling until someone comes in offering some cool stuff.

Anyways, let me know what yall think about the kits... I think i want to build the assault glider! I seen a special on the History Channel so im really diggin it.

Lucky. Thats an understatement. The B-24, Privateer, and P-61 are killers. BTW, what scale is the assault glider.

That's the Revell 1/72 Waco glider. They also did a Horsa as well. I built the Waco back in the early 80s.

It is 1/72. Im not the biggest fan of building planes.. maybe because im not that great at it haha. Cars and tanks are my thing.... so I think all of these kits will just stay in the box haha..

James, that is SWEEEEEET!!   Cool deal for you and everyone else too!!  My heart jumped when I saw the Revell 1/32 P-51D Mustang and Monogram 1/48 P-47D Thunderbolt!!  I built both of those when I was a very young teen in the 70's!!  I actually forgot I had built the Mustang until I saw this photo!!  Thanks for posting them!!

OH!!! and my brother built the Revell Stuka!!  We used to have aerial battles with my Mustang and his Stuka!!

This actually sounds like a better idea... I will tell my boss see what he thinks.. although he doesnt have much of a choice since they were given to me.
