I feel your pain, buddy.  I tore my left meniscus last June and didn't get it fixed until the day before Thanksgiving, November 22nd. That gets old pretty quick.

Take advantage of that 2 weeks and don't do what I did and go back to work 4 days later.

Take care of it and build a bunch.

Sorry to hear about your injury buddy. Back in 1978 I ripped my ACL, was off for 9 months. They didn't scope it back then. I had enough bench time that I scratch built two RC airplanes! One was a Fokker Dr1 and the other was a design of my own. Both flew pretty well. The bad thing about it was when I crashed the Fokker I reinjured my knee. I stepped into a rabbit hole twisted my knee, laying on the ground watching my plane auger in with my radio five feet away and me withering in pain!...Ah yes the good old days. Hope you feel better soon.

Yup, I broke my right collarbone a couple weeks ago skiing in the terrain park, no writing, piano lessons, or chores for Ian! Just lots of time to build models. Its just about healed again, and the thought has crossed my mind atleast a couple times to "accidentally" trip and break it again!

well at least you've got the uninterrupted modelling time!

I pulled a muscle in my lower back - just enough be an uncomfortable nusiance, but not serious enough to get me some time off for modelling and reading!

Sorry to hear about the knee but 2 weeks of modeling sounds pretty good. I asume you might need another week or two after surgery? SoapBox [soapbox]

Paid time off?  That must be nice.  One of the downsides of being self-employed... no worky-no money.  And yup I am getting scoped.  I was figuring 2 weeks since thats what it tooklast time.  yes... I have been here beforeSigh [sigh]

Sorry to hear about your knee, hope you have a speedy recovery.
