Thanks Guyz....I think I may try the oil option.....I guess the FUTURE too...I'll see how it turns out...this is my first attempt...I've built models out-of the box for lots of years...but never went for any extras...so this will be fun.. THANKS AGAIN!!!Smile [:)]

Remember you can also get inks in just about any color you can think of.

Flyboy,
I've had nasty results with printer ink - it's fairly aggressive - sticks to everything and was hard to wipe off - ended up stripping the model and repainting.
I've used India ink with good results - I also will coat acrylics with Future, then wash with thinned enamels. Works pretty well..........
Oils are also a really good option - there are lots of colors that won't give you that stark, intense color differential that black gives you - depending on the topcoat color, use dark gray, burnt umber, or burnt sienna.

Hi All, Well I'm into my first kit with Photo-Etch/Resin parts, a Eudard Mk V Spitfire. I'm trying out the SnJ metal and also I want to do a "wash". What steps do I need to do? Can you use printer ink from a refill kit or do I need India Ink? You guy's are GREAT and I know all I have to do is ask! THANKS in ADVANCE!! Flyboy
