Great turn out even with it being Easter weekend.  The competition was hot this year.  Got my first awards in a model contest.  My 1/72 190 took 3rd place in 1/72 props and the 1/32 took 2nd in 1/32 & larger/Props & Jets.

And Congrats to Tanky for his 1st place win in juniors of his oustanding 1/72 Spitifre.  he has posted pics here before but they don't do it justice.... really nice work with microbic AM detail.

Here is the link to the slide show.  There was a ton more great stuff but the camera battery conked out.

Was Tanky's Spit the one with the gun-access panels and engine cover removed?  My eyes can't see very well, but what I could see of it was outstanding!

Wing_nut, I'd ask if you were the guy standing next to me with the camera - but I think I was the only guy there without a camera!

Aww shucks... Blush [:I]

Yep, my spitfire was the one with the engine exposed.

It was a pretty darn good show this year. I picked up an Eduard Fw-190, fujimi mig-21, eduard la-7 and an Acc. Min. P-51C. (I didn't even know Acc. Min. made  P-51C?)

Saw wingy's collection of 190's- they made me feel like I was walking around in circles. Very nice work on those.

Marc,

Congrats on your awards. Much deserved.

Thanks for taking the time and putting in the effort to post all those pictures (especially so quickly). Special thanks for including all three of my models.

Outstanding show this year. The quality of the stuff on the tables was just amazing.

I just wish the battery had not crapped out so soon.  Which 3 are yours?

Very tricky... now that I know who you areWink [;)]  But maybe if I was paying attention to the "Dan S" and the "North Jersey" in your post I should have been able to figure that out.  I will blame it on the pain meds. Whistling [:-^] I am really feeling the 9 hours on my feet.... but it was worth it.

And congrats to your awards as wellThumbs Up [tup]

Looks like it was quite the event. Lots of top-notch work. Thanks for sharing, Marc! When I lived in NY I attended that show on a regular basis, and your pics brought back a lot of great memories.

...and congrats to all the winners...nicely done, guys! Thumbs Up [tup]

Marc, great pictures, just sorry I had to miss it this year. The only good thing is that my stash didn't grow again - running out of places to put those boxes!

Congrats on the win - and 2 prizes no less. Again, only wished I got to see the 190's again.

Tanky, congrats to your spit also.

Just curious, did any one notice if there were any 1/48 armor?
