This year we will be joined by the final reunion of the veterans and crew of the USS Kidd. This is planned to be thier final reunion.  If you have ever wanted to talk to the original crew of the Pirate of the Pacific and get a feel for what service in the mid-1940s was like, come on down!

Contest entrants, don't forget to download and print your entry form so you can fill it out in the comfort of your own home.  We now have plenty of vendors for your shopping needs and dont forget our monster raffle!

The Baton Rouge forecast for Saturday is: PERFECT WEATHER!

 See you there!

Baton Rouge Scale Modelers wants to thank everyone who came out and supported us yesterday at Cajun Modelfest XXII at the USS Kidd and Louisiana Naval Warfare museum.  The day was perfect, we had higher than average attendance numbers with a few more models than last year. Quality of workmanship and diversity of subject was REALLY up there this year!   Our theme was "Really Obscure" so that brought some VERY odd pieces out, and our own Mr. Moto won top honors for Best Auto entry.

Our thanks to those modelers --and vendors--that travelled from Chatanooga,Pensacola and Houston to be with us.

See you next year!

David
