&^%$#@!!!   That episode screened here last night and the wife didnt tape it !!

(notwithstanding the fact that I didnt ask her to)  You'd think after 14 years of marriage she would know wouldnt ya ?  Apparently the modeller was played by the same guy that plays Charley Utter in the HBO "Deadwood" series.

Yeah i believe ya, we get those all the time when I lived in Indonesia the locals thought it was money to scare our school into thinking that their was a bomb in the acedemic block somewhere. Their phones were traced and arrested by the local authorities is was actually quite scary.

I hear ya Wayne.  Two local idiots were caught making a rudimentary "bomb" by mixing together the contents of two bottles (the media wont say bottles of what) from a supermarket shelf.  They shook up the bottle and left it in the middle of the aisle where an unlucky store assistant picked it up and got burns to his arms and hands.  They were charged under Terrorist laws !  Idiots: definately.  Should be in jail: definately.  But terrorists ? I think describing morons like these two as "terrorists"  demeans the danger and seriousness of real terrorism.  Sorry to get a bit O/T/My 2 cents [2c]

Careful guys.  The latest thing to go is a sense of humor and common sense.  Don't know if you read about the guy who was arrested when, after a rough landing, he commented that the pilot must be drunk.  The flight was delayed, the flight crew drug tested, and the guy charged, for making a joke.

I may get so drunk, I have to crawl home. But dammit, I'll crawl like a Marine.

Yeah, that should work. Let's find out where he lives and send him a 1:144 scale scratchbuilt model of it, with a note that says "Nice home, shame if something were to happen to it"!

So long folks!

Hey, I know what we should do!  Let's get together a letter writing campaign to Jerry Bruckheimer and calmly explain to him that we aren't all whackos, ask for a public apology, and threaten to torch the CSI sets if he doesn't!

By the way that was a joke.   For the love of heaven don't call the FBI.

Yeah, my wife gave me the smirk as well...

It was only a matter of odds between who would be a tv serial killer first: a modeler or a systems analyst for Apple. I lose.

Yeah, I was real pleased about how all the modelers and dioramists portrayed in that story arc are all kinda nut jobs.  Helped along by the desk clerks description of  his clientele as perfectionist control freaks.   I guess in retrospect the guy they originally thought was the miniature killer was actually a fairly normal model railroader (for whatever that's worth) but I'm fairly certain I wouldn't fall on my sword like that to protect a murderer.

I dont think its screened in Australia yet - c'mon guys give us the scoop (dont worry, you wont ruin it for me)  Have seen a couple episodes where the killer recreates the crime scene in miniature - is it something to do with that ?  I had a feeling we hadnt seen the last of that guy..........

I think you'll need to travel a bit from the strip to get to that hobby shop. Likely, it WAS a set in a soundstage in Hollywood. After shooting the scene, it would have been dismantled. Typically, what happens is location long shots are filmed in the city poprtrayed to let you see the known sights, then everything else is done at the studio.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

It was a HUGH mess!

I liked the way all the tools and lights were mounted and at ready access. Kinda  like the cockpit of an airplane with everything within arms reach.

Yes! That LHS would be a must see on my next trip to Vegas. However, it would have to be my first stop if I wanted to buy anything.

I sure did!

I locked myself in the war room and turned off all other diversions....the workbench was quite a mess, I would have loved to have seen what was REALLY all over that thing!!

Ok, so WHERE in Vegas is that LHS??????? I have got to check that place out!!!
