Yeah, it only runs for a week. It will come up again though.
I, or someone else, will post it for sure when it does.

i missed out on it, too. I'm pretty sure the wife had me running all over town on errands just to keep me away from there. Little does she know, there will be other sales there, and I shall return...

Guess what I just got!!!! I went to Tennessee to visit my daughter today, and thougt Id stop at the Hobby Lobby there. OMG!!! They had Academys new 1/32nd F/A 18 !!!I got it for $60.00 . Theres no way I was gonna pass up that baby for that price. They also had one of Accurate Miniatures B-25Bs , so I got that puppy too. That F-18 is amazing, I cant wait to get started on her, um it...

Sled: sorry to hear about the battle wounds on the B-1 . That thing will be huge. Im gonna have to do the same, hang it on the ceiling. Either that or its going on my counter in the kitchen.

QUOTE: and last but not least, Revells 1/48 B-1B ! what a huge kit thats gonna be. Has anyone built this by the way?

I have built the kit twice. The first time was 86 or 87. A buddy and I decided to tackle it. Loved the kit. The last time was around 00-01. The kit just did not look the same. Huge is an understatement. I never did take pictures of either kit. The last one, I left with a buddy who was a Crew Chief on one. I hung it from the ceiling at home. Placed it all over the room. No matter where it hung, it would take some type of damage from me.
I would build it again if I was to give it away or had a higher ceiling.

Hope you enjoy.

I just bought the Richard Petty Superbird. I wanted the Buick Grand National also. But decided againest it

I went in to my local store, but forgot to bring the little coupon. The clerk said that it was ok, she'd ring it up anyway! How cool is that! Unfortunately, no funds that day. Today's money day, though, and I think that there's a Hanomag and 88 with my name on them. Maybe the AM b-25, if the wife is feeling generous... I might have to butter her up a bit tonight. Cool I just got back and what a deal. I now have a stockpile starting to form at last!
Picked up:
Tamiya Leopard 2A5
German Hanomag Halftrack
U.S. Amphibian Jeep
U.S. Halftrack
Some boxes of accesories
and to round it all off a 1/24 Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am for a friend to make up for the 1:1 we had as teens that we never got around to restoring.

All for under $40. Made my day.

Of coarse my wife has already laid claim to the U.S. halftrack and amphibian. Don't know whether to be happy or upset about loseing those.

Sorry I missed the discussion concerning the big sale. What is even worse is the nearest Hobby Lobby is in a city about 70 miles away from my abode, and I was in that store yesterday completely oblivious to the sale. The sale was definitely unadvertised. If you go to the Hobby Lobby site, you will find that you can be put on their mailing list for their weekly internet cupon.

I bought an AS-90 and an M1A1 with mine rakes. Hopefully I can get back by the end of the week and pick up some more kits. I have heard some modelers have had problems using one coupon on multiple kits. I didn't have any problems, has anybody else heard this rumor?

My wife noticed the conversation here and has put me on a budget for the week. If I want to spend my than 50 bucks at Hobby Lobby I'll have to figure something to go without. Wonder how long I can go without food?
